SUGO CAC' E OVE (PALLOTTINE AL SUGO ROSSO)

Pallotte cac 'e ove with red sauce are a typical Abruzzo dish, probably among the most famous.
The invention of this meal originates from the peasant tradition when, in times of war, meat was scarce. In fact, they are meatballs with very simple ingredients: bread, cheese (cacio) and eggs. A unique and quick but very substantial hot dish. It can also be used as an appetizer in small doses.
